Read MoreKrista Burton represents both employers and employees in a variety of employment matters. Krista negotiates and drafts employment and severance agreements as well as employee handbooks. She represents employers in EEOC matters. Krista also represents employers in Department of Labor matters, including defending and responding to workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, and also counsels employers through DOL audits.
Krista Burton graduated summa cum laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Prior to joining Book Law, Krista practiced in the areas of family and employment law. She also served as a Law Clerk for Justice Michelle M. Keller of the Kentucky Supreme Court, and later served as the Director of Academic Success and Bar Support and Assistant Professor of Law at Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Krista is licensed in Kentucky and Ohio.
