For over 20 years I have vigorously represented clients in all types of workplace matters. My focus is on providing strategic legal advice and counsel, negotiating favorable resolutions, conducting expedient and thorough investigations, and skillfully litigating employment matters. I care deeply about my clients and their business objectives, and I enjoy collaborating with them to find the most practical solutions to even the most complex Employment law issues.

As a former Director and Counsel at the NYS Department of Labor, I served as a trusted advisor to former Deputy Commissioners and worked in the General Counsel’s Office. As part of my tenure with New York State, I supervised and conducted hundreds of investigations, led Governor’s task force units and special operations with DHR, OAG, DTF, WCB &SLA, and obtained groundbreaking resolutions on dozens of cases. I believe that prompt and impartial workplace investigations is a crucial tool for employers, not only to protect against legal and reputational harm, but also to assist the business in assessing risk and making more informed decisions.

The landscape of employment legislations, rules, regulations, and case law is constantly evolving, and I am committed to helping our clients with navigating the intricate regulatory framework to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

I am a member of the New York City Bar Association Employment & Labor Committee and was the Co-Chair of The Employment Law Institute in March 2025. I am also involved in various construction-focused organizations such as the Professional Women in Construction NY Chapter and the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants NY.
