Leona Hansen

I was first drawn to law through my interest in working with people and helping them navigate everyday challenges.

After completing a Bachelor of Laws at Sussex University, I was able to explore the intersection of law and policy through a Master’s degree in Development Studies at Cambridge University.

Before beginning my Juris Doctor at Boston University School of Law, I gained experience in the public sector and with several non-profits, primarily focusing on asylum and immigration law.

During law school, I became especially interested in employment law for its emphasis on addressing people-centered legal challenges.
