Jared Nossen
Attorney
I am drawn to the intellectual rigor of Employment Law because it is constantly evolving in response to legal, workplace, and societal developments. I value the human element of the practice, working closely with clients to navigate real-world challenges in the modern workplace.
My practice includes management representation in all areas of employment litigation, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. I also provide day-to-day counseling to employers on a wide range of workplace issues, such as employee handbooks, workplace investigations, union grievances, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
I regularly appear before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the New York State Department of Labor. During law school, I gained valuable experience through internships with the National Labor Relations Board and the United States Attorney’s Office.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I am passionate about traveling, cooking, and sports, both watching and playing. I am an avid fan of the Jets, Mets, Knicks, and Wisconsin Badgers.
